Staff:
The Archive staff is very friendly and are more than willing to assist you. They allow you to call ahead and they'll let you know if the information you're looking for can be found in the archives.
Design:
The WMU Archives is an old gym that has been converted into a library over on East Campus. Because they use an archival organization system, most people require a staff member to assist them in reasearch.
